Little Athletics NSW Uniform Requirements apply to all athletes competing at Bowral Little Athletics. These requirements apply to ALL athletes representing the Centre at any competition.
- ALL LANSW competitors must compete in their registered Centre uniform. Clothing displaying non-approved logos must not be worn while competing.
- Individual registration numbers are to be worn by ALL LANSW competitors firmly affixed to the front of the uniform top.
- Individual numbers must not be modified and must clearly show the red border and the number.
- Footwear is compulsory for ALL competitors in ALL events.
- Athletes in the U6 – U10 age group MAY NOT wear spike shoes.
- NEW RULE updated October 2021 – Athletes in the U11 – U12 age group may wear spike shoes in events run entirely in lanes only. Spike
shoes may also be worn for long jump, triple jump, high jump, and javelin.
- NEW RULE updated October 2021 – Athletes in the U13 – U17 age groups may wear spike shoes in all track events (includes laned or unlaned events) except walks. Spike shoes may also be worn for long jump, triple jump, high jump,
and javelin.
- Competitors must not wear spike shoes with the spikes removed in any event.
- Spike shoes must only be worn during the event and are not to be worn to and from the event.
